The Solidarity Marketplace
The Solidarity Market "The Refusal of Agricultural Failure":
While agricultural yields in the Comoros continue to decline (-43% in 2020), the solidarity market "The refusal of agricultural failure" aims to make Comorian agriculture the country's primary "growth vector".
It especially helps the inhabitants of the Comoros archipelago who have financial difficulties to shop cheaper than in traditional shops (prices are divided by 5). The savings are used to finance farmers' projects in the northern region of Ngazidja.
The next edition of the solidarity market "The refusal of agricultural failure" will take place on the 1st and 2nd of July or on the 8th and 9th of July 2023 in the region of Mitsamiouli (address to be communicated around April 2023). Two companies and two cooperatives are organised around the valorisation of local products with more than 30 farmers of the region.
